"The strengths in this book lie in the characters and the dialogue. Cat Grant develops her characters so that they become almost like real people to us, people we can care about, and she has them interact in a way is both believable and entertaining. One of my favorite interactions between the two main characters involves a superb reference to a Monty Python skit, which took me by surprise and made me laugh.
A Fool for You is a stand-alone story, but I recommend that you read the first two books of the series beforehand in order to fully understand the characters in this book, their relationships, and their motivations. Although Appearing Nightly is my favorite of the series – simply because I adored the character Mike – I found this to be well worth my time. Ms. Grant spins a darned good story, and her writing style makes for a polished and enjoyable read.
